As I was flipping through Experience Life Magazine, I came across an article about “gut-healing” foods. I found this article very interesting since many nutrition articles I come across focus only on weight-loss. This new focus is an area of nutrition that I feel is not as familiar to many people
Gut-healing foods are natural foods that aid in healing digestive problems such as ulcers, acid reflux, leaky gut, and irritable bowel syndrome. We often think that food is the cause of these uncomfortable inconveniences, and at times, they are. However, food can also serve as medicine.

In this article, it describes the seven best gut-healing foods. If this type of article piques your interest, read it here:
7 Gut-Healing Foods
The article describes the benefits of these foods; however, the list of ingredients can be overwhelming if you have never heard of them before reading their names in this post or the article. It can also be intimidating to cook with these ingredients. Below I have attached the seven gut-healing foods described in the article as well as great and simple recipes for each ingredient!

The article recommends trying an elimination diet if you are experiencing digestive issues before testing out these foods. Try eliminating foods that are known to cause bodily discomforts such as gluten or dairy. If the elimination diet does not work, then try out these natural and healthy foods. Happy cooking!
