"I began my training with Shannon almost a year ago at the end of October 2018 on the recommendation of a trusted friend who already worked out with her. I was 69 years old, had lost 87 lbs with help, and decided that losing weight was not all that I needed to do to live longer and be healthy. I wanted to become stronger. I wanted some muscle definition, a stronger core and I did not want to injure myself in the process. I met Shannon for a consultation, she did an assessment and was very conscious of the age factor.
I have gained about 2-3 lbs of muscle, lost 2” in my stomach area, and 1 “ in my hips. While my arm and thigh measurements have not changed there is clear definition. I am stronger and more confident. I thought I was done replacing my fat clothes but no, I have lost another size, so off to shop I go! I have found Shannon to be a firm and gentle trainer, always careful not to push to injury. The gym we workout in is very clean and is a trainer’s gym, just another benefit with good, safe equipment.
